Social butterflies???

Ben's mom bought the girls matching shirts awhile ago and it finally got warm enough to wear them. I was glad they still fit! The funny thing about the shirts is what they say! I'm a social butterfly. Well for all of you that know Brenna, that couldn't be anymore true, but for Natalie that is the furthest from the truth! At least now she will wave and say hello and bye to people! I love matching their outfits and actually haven't done it in awhile. I have one more photo shoot scheduled in a few weeks for pictures of the girls together and the two of them with me. I have matching shirts for them to wear then too. Yes, I know I have been living at JcPenney! This will be the last time I buy pictures...for a little while anyway! :-)

I love this one!

Where's your nose?
Happy girl!
I just love her new hair.
I have no idea what Natalie is doing. I think she had just put a crumb in her mouth!
She loves sitting in grown up chairs. She's watching Ben and Brenna play Wii.

Natalie's 18 month pictures!

Well I took Natalie to get her pictures today and was pleasantly surprised at how awesome she did! I just love the pictures and, I was so glad she cooperated. As everyone knows, I am quite the worry wart, and Natalie can be quite unpredictable! I actually almost cancelled the appointment this morning because I thought she would probably cry the entire time! Boy, am I glad I didn't! I can't wait to get both of the girls pictures back and share them with family and friends!

Brenna's 6 year pics

I took Brenna to JC Penney's today for her six year portraits. We had so much fun and even got our favorite photographer Annie! Brenna loves posing for the camera so the photographer had a blast with her. I love the rain boot and umbrella photos, but they all turned out so well I can't pick a favorite! Enjoy!

I do really love this though!

The sun does still exist!

Well I think I have lost count, but we have had like 26 or 27 days with snow on the ground! Let's just say I'm getting a little stir crazy...okay a lot! Anyway, the sun has been out the last few days and has been in the 40's. As cold as it has been it feels amazing outside. I took Natalie out after lunch today to enjoy some sunshine. She just explored around and we tried out her new trike again. Her legs are still too short for the pedals! My dad keeps saying he is going to put some wooden blocks on them so she can reach! Hopefully she will get a big growth spurt by summer and will be able to ride it. I can't wait for spring and all the fun activities we have planned. First up on the list a trip to an indoor water park, Big Splash Adventure, in French Lick Indiana!

She loves to watch Brenna hula hoop!

She resorted to pushing it since she couldn't pedal!

Brenna's new do!

Well we keep getting shorter and shorter with Brenna's hair, and I finally decided to take her and actually get a cute cut. I love it! It should hopefully be easy to take care of, and Brenna loved it too. She couldn't wait to show her new haircut off to her friends at school. She kept saying how different she looked. I thought it was great timing in lieu of her birthday, and we are getting her 6 year pictures taken tomorrow.

Wacky Wednesday

To celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday they had a wacky Wednesday at Brenna's school. Here is the outfit creation we came up with! She had a lot of fun dressing up, and she even went to stroller club with me that morning! She said she wasn't going to take her coat off, but I told her we would just explain what she was doing. Yet another change in my 6 year old...embarrassment and wanting her outfits to coordinate! :-)

Brenna turns 6!!!

Well we had an entire weekend of celebration for Brenna's birthday, but she did really finally turn six on Monday! I surprised her with breakfast in bed (even though she had to get back in bed when I walked in!). She had school that morning and wanted to take a snack to share with her friends. We decided on pink and blue rice krispie treats. My parents left that morning and we gave her our joint gift of a new bedspread. I saved a few gifts for her to open after dinner as a family. I needed a day to recover after the party so it was nice to have a slow day to spend with her. We went shopping that evening to spend the birthday money burning a hole in her pocket! She did very well and chose Connect Four, a movie, and a mermaid doll. I sang happy birthday to her that evening, just her and I, and I cried through the entire thing! It finally hit me that my baby girl was six!
