Thank you Lord!

Well we made it to Dayton!!! We traveled for three days and stopped in Little Rock Arkansas, and then stoppped in Clarksville Indiana at my parents house before finally arriving at our new house! The girls did great in the car, and I don't think I would have survived without Brenna helping me with Natalie. She handed her snacks, toys, played with her and even fed her a few bottles!

We dropped Brenna off with my parents when we went through Clarksville. We had a few days to unpack and then headed back to Indiana for Ben's grandmother's memorial service for the weekend.

It was nice to come back to Ohio and have the whole family together in our new house! Ben's parents came and stayed for four days and now my parents are here until Sunday. They have all been such a huge help and I am soooo happy to be back in the midwest I can hardly stand it! It's been down in the 60's at night and we had lunch on the back porch today because it's just too beautiful to be inside!

My friend Emily and her two children along with a friend of hers and her two kids visited all last week so we had lots of fun going back to Carriage Hill, and Young's Dairy. I went to the Fairfield Mall last night with Ben for a date night and we just had a great time. There is a new restaurant there instead of California Pizza Kitchen named Spinoza's which was delicious! Unfortunately Ben had to head back to San Antonio for 5 weeks today. Hopefully it will go quickly and then he will back in time for all the fall festivals!

I promise there will be pics soon of the new house. We have almost everything set up. I think we are going to have a great three years here, but I sure miss my girls! :-) Love ya'll...you know who you are!

Natalie news/last post for awhile

Well Natalie decided to sit herself up all by herself 4 times so far today! She is starting to get on her knees and rock back and forth more and more, and she is putting her hands and feet out with her butt in the air! Gotta get a pic of that soon! Anyway, I'm glad to see she is finally getting motivated to start moving around. She has been so frustrated lately which of course makes me frustrated with her since she's been so fussy! I'm hoping Ben will get to see her crawl before he has to head back to San Antonio at the end of June.

Natalie is also cutting her two top teeth. No break throughs yet, but I know they are getting close.

I've been working really hard today around the house today since the packers come tomorrow morning! Still can't believe the time is finally here. I decided to take a break and I thought one last blog post was appropriate. I was telling some friends that it never seems real that we are moving until the house is empty and the moving truck pulls away from our house with all of our worldly possessions!

The next post will hopefully be of our new house all set up in Dayton and my baby girl crawling around in it!!!

Brenna's 1st Dance Recital!

Last night was Brenn'a first dance recital! It was really cute and she was super excited to be on the big stage. She had dress rehearsal at 9 a.m. at the Laurie Auditorium at Trinity University. She really liked watching the other dancers, seeing their costumes, and dancing to their music! The actual recital was at 6:30 and her class danced to "What kind of an animal are you?" and were dressed in kitty costumes for their ballet performance. Then she was dressed in a Davy Crockett outfit for the tap performance and sang "Tomorrow" for the finale. Ashley, Courtney, and Lauren joined us and even brought flowers for her. It was a great night!

Waiting to practice the finale.

Posing with some friends from her class.

I think she's got the posing down!

JoAnn (Courtney's mother-in-law) was gracious enough to watch Natalie for us! It was so nice to go and enjoy the recital without worrying about Natalie making it through the performance!

Last Day at Seaworld (for awhile anyway)

We headed to Seaworld for one last time before we leave. It was a beautiful sunny day without a lot of humidity which was nice since the water park was closed! We had a great time playing in the kiddy water area and spending time with friends.

Brenna and her boy...friend Zach. Just priceless. She has good taste right!?

I think this picture is precious! Natalie is really into touching everyone's face right now and this is such a cute shot of her checking out Leah!

Big Daddy kisses.

I am acutally in a picture with one of my children! Eventhough I had to ask Ben to take it! Cute huh?

We got all three of them together! Such a rare occurence this days!

Her favorite thing lately...splashing in the water.

Brenna, Zach and Seth and a sneak peak of Colin in the background

I'm lovin' all these girlfriend pics lately!

Brenna was so glad to have a friend to ride with today. Her and Zach also rode the Shamu roller coaster together.

1st time in the big tub!

I finally got to put Natalie in the big bathtub with Brenna. Now that she is sitting really well I felt comfortable putting her in. She absolutely loved it. She splashed and splashed and Brenna really enjoyed having Natalie in there with her. I got some cuter pics, but I don't want to embarass Brenna since some of the shots were a little private! :-)

I wanted this to load last, but here is Natalie after her bath all cozy.
I had a hard time even getting her to look at me since she is so fascinated with the water.

I used to daydream about my girls bathing together!

Splashing around

My cowgirls!

When we left the house in Dayton I took pictures of Brenna in front of the house so I've been wanting to do that with the girls here. We were headed to Courtney's for dinner (which turned out to be our surprise party!) and Brenna suggested putting Natalie in the little cowgirl outfit Courtney had gotten for her. I thought it was a great idea and then Brenna wanted something to match her so we came up with the horse shirt and her new cowgirl hat matched perfectly. It turned into a pretty cute little photo shoot!

The Brenna pose
Natalie was loving sitting in the grass.

I love this one.
